June 12th Yoho & Banff National Parks

What a day we had today!  Our bus tour took in Yoho and Banff National Parks.  In First Nation, Yoho means “awesome” and that is the perfect word to describe our day.  We saw incredible beauty in the snow capped mountains above ice covered lakes, a momma grizzly with her 2 cubs, we even hiked in Johnston Canyon to the Lower Falls.  That was quite a trail- mainly a boardwalk hanging off the side of the cliffs over the river. The water was really crashing over the falls.
